Within the Chinese Shops, R&B, Hip-Hop and South African House music is played. Akon is put on repeat for hours on end for example, to attract the passing South African shoppers. The music makes the space seem alot more "South African". It contrasts with the aesthetic of the overabundant Chinese goods.
